Larsa Pippen is looking to divorce her husband, NBA great Scottie Pippen

The couple were married in 1997 and have four children together. Their oldest, Scottie Pippen Jr., is a highly touted high school prospect. Their 9-year-old daughter Sophia Pippen recently competed on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors. Larsa hopes to have joint legal and physical custody of the kids, according to TMZ.

"It is with deep sadness that Scottie and I announce that we are legally separating. We have both tried very hard for a long time to make our marriage work and have ultimately come to the conclusion that it is best that we live separate lives," Larsa told the tabloid. "We have so many amazing memories together, remain best of friends and love each other very much. Our four children have always been our priority and for their sake we ask for as much privacy as possible for our family during this sensitive time."

This isn't the first time that one of the Pippens has filed for divorce. Scottie filed for divorce back in 2016 before calling it off. While that filing came on the heels of several domestic disturbance calls, anonymous sources told TMZ that this time around there's no scandal.

"The 2 have just grown apart over the last few years and decided to end their relationship," they said.

In addition to custody, Larsa is seeking spousal support from Pippen.
