It’s no secret that LeBron James is cheap AF. Dwyane Wade spilled the beans and revealed exactly how cheap LeBron is during an appearance on Live With Kelly in 2016, and LeBron confirmed it by talking about how he’s too cheap to pay for data roaming, apps, or the paid version of Pandora on his phone. But did you know that most of LeBron’s teammates are just as cheap as he is?

Iman Shumpert just did an interview about money with Wealthsimple, and in it, he revealed that he’s extremely good about saving his money. He’s put aside about half of his salary every year since first coming into the NBA in 2011, and he’s steered clear of making the kinds of purchases that cause some NBA players to go broke. His most extravagant purchase ever was a Bentley and even that was something that he only bought because he realized he had plenty of extra money lying around to do it.

"I don’t think I have whatever that thing is that makes some athletes bad with money," Shumpert said.

But during his interview, Shumpert also revealed that the entire Cavaliers roster seems to follow his same line of thinking when it comes to putting money aside and being as frugal as possible, despite having millions in the bank. He said that when the Cavaliers go out to eat as a team, they still split the bill and don’t spend more money than they have to, even though they could all easily afford to do it.

"Now that I think about it," Shumpert said, "our whole team isn’t big on expensive stuff. For as much money as we make, we’re all pretty cheap. We split the bill at dinner. We’re smart about our coins, man."

Elsewhere in the interview, Shumpert also talked about how he and his wife Teyana Taylor manage their money together. You can check out the full interview here.
