Less than two weeks ago, Derrick Rose went under the knife to repair the torn meniscus in his right knee and earlier today, Comcast SportsNet Chicago's Chuck Garfien spotted the 26-year-old point guard taking shots prior to today's game against the Memphis Grizzlies at the United Center. While his toes planted firmly on the ground, Rose basically took free throws from a further distance.
After looking at Rose in the above clip, it appears as though the Bulls could have him back towards the latter part of the four-to-six week timetable. Either way, it's great to see him making some progress towards his eventual return to the court. Your prayers have been answered.
