Could this be it?

I know, I know. We've all heard that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather were set to finally throw hands, only to be disappointed within 24 hours when one of them denies it. Well, this time, it appears that we are as close as we've ever been to the two men getting in the ring together.

The Telegraph is reporting that Pacquiao has settled on contractual details that will set the fight for May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The winnings will total $250 million. Floyd Mayweather, who is currently in New York for NBA All-Star Weekend, may even announce the fight on Sunday ahead of the All-Star Game.

“Manny has 100 percent signed his side of the deal,” a source told Telegraph Sport. “It is now over to Mayweather to close the deal and announce the fight.”

So there's a date, there's a location and there's a purse. All that's left is for Mayweather to put his money where his mouth is and sign on the dotted line. As a fan of theatrics, what better place to announce the fight the world has been waiting for ever for than at one of the biggest sporting events of the year? Let's just say you should tune in to TNT tomorrow night.
