Back in early December, an Indianapolis woman accused Colts linebacker Josh McNary of raping her inside of his apartment after meeting the woman at a nearby bar. Today, McNary was formally charged with one count of rape, one count of criminal confinement, and one count of battery resulting in bodily injury.
According to Fox 59, the woman told Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department sex crime detectives that a man raped her on December 1. After the alleged incident, she stole the man's phone and turned it over to police. And police were able to then trace the phone back to McNary, who reportedly told police, "I know why you are here," after they arrived at his apartment to question him about the woman's claims.
Few other details about the alleged rape have been released at this time. But a warrant has been issued for McNary's arrest. Stay tuned for additional details.
