In between helping the upstart Cleveland Browns to a 6-3 record, landing them in first place in the AFC North for the first time this late in a season since the mid-90's, and being a huge sneaker fiend, Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden has decided to open his own sneaker shop in downtown Cleveland.
The shop, appropriately titled The Restock, will be a consignment shop, where you can bring in your kicks and Haden's shop will sell them for you. Think of it as Cleveland's take on Flight Club, a staple of New York and Los Angeles. The shop has actually been open for a few years under the name United Sneakers, which Haden bought and will be moving downtown from the Cleveland suburb of Lakewood.
The Restock is set to have its grand opening on Nov. 28, a.k.a. Black Friday. So if you're in town to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers score 130 points while playing little to no defense or yell at Browns head coach Mike Pettine to start Johnny Manziel from the stands of a Browns game, make sure you hit up Haden's new place. Knowing his affinity for sneakers, it should be a go-to.
