Los Angeles Lakers fans will notice some familliar details on this upcoming "Black Mamba" edition of the Nike Kobe A.D. Mid.
The colorway itself is standard fare when it comes to the Kobes that match the Lakers' uniforms, but closer inspection reveals some features that tie this shoe even closer to the team. Most noticible is the "Black" and "Mamba" wording found on the left and right tongues, respectively, written in the highly recognizable Lakers font. Long-time fans will also recognize the drop shadow on the Swoosh as being reminiscent from past Lakers uniforms which featured the same design detail.
According to a tweet by US11, the Black Mamba Nike Kobe A.D. Mid has a sneaker relase date of Dec. 26, 2017.
