Ahead of this year's FIBA World Cup tournament, New York Knicks guard and Team USA's Select Team member Quentin Grimes took to social media to showcase some of his footwear options while representing the States, which included two USA-themed Nike Kobe 6 Protro colorways.

The images, which Grimes shared on his Instagram Story yesterday, show the Kobe 6 Protro sporting a white-based color scheme with blue and red accents as well as a navy pair with white and red hits. Both versions also come with a marble-like detail covering the outsoles.

This isn't the first time that the sneakers from Kobe Bryant's signature Nike line have donned a patriotic color scheme. The last red, white, and blue Kobe colorway arrived in 2018 with the release of the "USA" Kobe 1 Protro. In 2012, Bryant also wore a USA-themed Kobe 7 colorway at the Olympic Games that year, en route to his team's gold medal victory.

At the time of writing, there is no indication if these two USA-themed Nike Kobe 6 Protro colorways were made exclusively for the players on the Team USA roster. Check back soon for official updates.
