Adidas Skateboarding has introduced a new version of the Pro Model this week that's designed in collaboration with team rider and founder of London-based apparel label Thames MMXX, Blondey McCoy.

Arriving this week is the Blondey x Adidas Pro Model collab that Adidas says pairs skate performance with high fashion-inspired aesthetics. The standout element of the sneaker is its transparent TPU upper, a detail that was initially featured on the two entities' Superstar collab from 2019. Unlike standard versions of the Pro Model, McCoy's pairs also feature his name printed above the midfoot's Three Stripes branding. The shoes also feature the traditional shell toe at the forefoot and the cupsole underneath.

"Making your own stuff from scratch is one thing," McCoy said. "But being trusted with another brand’s DNA, to build on a tried-and-tested formula, to pen a chapter or even a paragraph in a book like this—it’s a great responsibility."

The Blondey x Adidas Pro Model in the "Night Indigo" colorway will be released on Aug. 5 at Adidas.com/skateboarding and in select specialty skate retailers, while the "Indigo" pair will be available exclusively at thamesmmxx.com and on the Confirmed app. Both pairs retail for $130.
