Adidas Skateboarding has tapped London-native and brand skater Blondey McCoy to update the Superstar 80s model for their latest collaboration.
McCoy pays homage to his hometown district of Soho located in the West End of London with the Superstar 80—his silhouette of choice when it comes to skating. The collaborative shoe boasts a translucent upper with black Three Stripes overlay, and white leather extending to the eyelets, tongue, and heel tab. Differences from the standard Superstar 80s include a gold foil name stamped on the side that reads 'Blondey' while a rubber toe cap and sole finish off the look.
McCoy's latest Adidas Superstar 80s collaboration is releasing on Adidas.com and select Adidas retailers on Dec. 14 and will retail for $110.
