Longtime collaborators Atmos and New Balance are back with a new project and this time, the global sneaker boutique is putting a futuristic spin on the fan-favorite 2002R.
Pictured here is the "Cybernetics Blue" Atmos x New Balance 2002R collab that's releasing next week. According to the duo, the blue hues used on the shoe are a nod to the potential of human-led technological advancements and visibility.
Additionally, the various grey tones pay homage to the Boston-based brand and its traditional grey colors. The upper is constructed of mostly mesh, while suede fills out the mid-panels, the eyestay, and portions of the heel and forefoot. Cushioning the underfoot is a full-length N-Ergy midsole.
This Atmos x New Balance 2002R "Cybernetics Blue" collab will be released on July 15 at Atmosusa.com and at Atmos stores for $160. Grab a closer look at the project below.
