One of the best Air Jordan XIs could be getting a Remastered retro this year.
Pictured here is what's purported to be a 2016 sample of the "Space Jam" Jordan XIs. If this ends up coming to fruition, this release is important for a number of reasons. For starters, 2016 marks the 20th anniversary of the film that inspired the shoe, so the timing would make plenty of sense.
Secondly, it would make these the first Remastered Air Jordan XI release in an O.G. colorway — although technically, the original 1996 "Space Jam" XIs never released and were first retroed in the year 2000.
Ever since the "Bred" XIs dropped as part of 2008's Countdown Pack, holiday Air Jordan XI releases have become something of a tradition for the brand, which further supports the rumor that these could be on the way in 2016.
