The Nike VaporFly 4% and Zoom Fly are some of the brand's lightest running sneakers, and for the upcoming marathon season, Nike is making them even lighter.

Both silhouettes are getting some materials updates in the form of Flyknit uppers. The knitted mesh material has been a staple for some of the most popular Nike silhouettes and will now help these models shed some weight for the running season. In addition new iteration of the Zoom Fly will also borrow the carbon fiber plate also used in the Vaporfly and swap out its Lunarlon base for a new React Foam sole.

Dropping Sept. 13 for a retail price of $160, the Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit will release in the colorway featured here online and at select Nike retailers. On Oct. 4., the Nike VaporFly 4% Flyknit drops on nike.com and at select Nike retailers for a price of $250.

Check out the images for a more detailed look at both silhouettes.
