After taking things down a notch in terms of color with the introduction of the Humanrace x Adidas Samba last December, Pharrell Williams is returning to a more colorful formula for his next sneaker collab.
Williams announced via Instagram that the “Color” Humanrace x Adidas Samba Collection debuts this week. The red, pink, yellow, orange, and lilac iterations will launch on Friday, April 28, exclusively at the Something in the Water music festival in Virginia Beach ahead of a wider global release on May 6. Williams also confirmed that the charcoal, white, and terracotta make-ups will launch at a later date.
This set of Humanrace x Adidas Samba styles don tonal color schemes and include elongated tongues and leather shoelaces. Humanrace branding also replaces the traditional ‘Samba’ logo on the sides.
For those who won’t be attending Something in the Water, the Humanrace x Adidas Samba “Color” Collection will be released on May 6 at adidas.com and at humanrace.com.
UPDATE (08/08): After releasing the first wave of Humanrace x Adidas Samba styles in April and May, we are now learning that the next set of colorways is dropping this Saturday. The three "Tones" makeups (pictured above) consist of the charcoal, white, and terracotta color schemes and are releasing on Aug. 12 via the Confirmed app, humanrace.com and at select Adidas stockists for $200 each.
