The Reebok Workout became an unlikely sneaker topic this summer upon the release of Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy Powerphase sneaker, a model many compared to this vintage Reebok trainer. Those who want more of the silhouette are in luck, as Reebok has given collaborator Packer Shoes a chance to remake the shoe here.
The result is a "Reverse Gum" style that overdoes on the tan shades usually seen underneath a pair like this. The upper is not only gum in color, but uses actual gum rubber to maintain integrity in texture.
The Reebok Workout "Reverse Gum" will be available via Packer Shoes on Friday, Sept. 8, at noon both in store and online. Note that the more traditional white/gum pair included in the promo images here will not be available.
