Represent refuse to back down as they take Selfridges by storm for the launch of the highly anticipated Terrier Sneaker.
What seems like a lifetime ago, Represent provided the first tease of their newest footwear silhouette in the form of the Terrier. Having spent 18 months in development, the new shape has been perfected by the team and is finally ready to hit the streets. Built from the ground up using a Vibram sole, the extra lightweight sneaker has been hand-made in Italy using thirty individual pattern pieces, a chunky sock insert, and a cage-like breathable membrane that brings it all together. Continuing their campaign of championing all things British, the Terrier borrows its name from the English Bull Terrier, while the overall shape of the silhouette has been modelled on the breeds head.
With such a long development process it was only right that the team pulled out all the stops when it came to the shoes public showcase. In doing so, Represent took over the Land Rover Defender Menswear space in Selfridges London for the display and pre-release of the silhouette. Rising from the display is the Autumn/Winter '19 'Never Comin’ Down' chrome Angel motif, inspired by British luxury motoring and featuring throughout the apparel collection.
