If there was ever a shadow of a doubt before, Sneaker Con Toronto proved that sneaker culture is alive and well north of the 49th. Over the weekend, the "greatest sneaker show on earth" made its way to Canada for the first time and was met with record-breaking attendance; in fact, Toronto had the most attendees of all the cities that Sneaker Con has touched thus far, including London, Hong Kong and Melbourne.
In addition to a huge selection of vendors and a massive Trading Pit, where anyone could bring sneakers to sell or trade, attendees were also treated to a series of "ShoeTubers" meet and greets with some of YouTube's most followed sneaker collectors including Qias Omar, TonyD2wild, BULL1TRC and Two JS Kicks. Vendors reported being extremely busy throughout the day—with some never even stopping for a break!—so it's clear that people came to both play and pay at Toronto Sneaker Con.
The Sneaker Con tour will continue to Las Vegas on November 11, Memphis on November 18, London on December 2 and New York for a two-day event on December 16 and 17.
