Earlier this month, we highlighted a recap of some of the most expensive sneakers ever sold on SCP Auctions and Heritage Auctions which included mostly game-worn and autographed rarities. These Kobe PE sneakers weren't available on those sites, but they would've fit right in amongst the other rare memorabilia.

TMZ reports that Portland, Ore., consignment shop Index PDX recently sold a pair of Air Jordan VII "Kobe Bryant" PEs for a cool $25,000. As you may remember, these Jordan VIIs were created personally for Kobe during his sneaker free agency in the early 2000s. Along with Air Jordan VIII and Air Flight Huarache PEs, Nike pulled out all the stops in attempt to sway Kobe its way, and it must have worked, because in 2003 he signed a multi-year deal with the brand.

Kobe's autographed Jordan VIIs have made it into the hands of an anonymous buyer. Although the price may seem high, these are truly a piece of sneaker history that more than likely won't be on the market again anytime soon.
