We all know red sneakers dominate sneaker culture, but it looks like the trend backfired for this Cleveland criminal.

Known as the "Red Shoe Robber" due to his choice of footwear, 22-year-old Johnnie Harris was found guilty on 94 counts that related to a crime spree he committed with three other people. The string of crimes included robbing 19 fast food restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacies, plus kidnapping and felonious assault. Harris was sentenced to 57 years in prison.

While the report doesn't reveal the incriminating kicks that earned Harris his nickname, we can only imagine the type of sneaker he was wearing—perhaps one designed by one of the most influential figures in fashion and music?
