A baby from Northern Ireland went viral this week after her mother posted a picture of the infant, who closely resembles Woody Harrelson.
“Ok but how does our daughter look like Woody Harreslon,” Dani Grier Mulvenna captioned a photo of her nine-month old baby, Cora, along with a side-by-side photo of the True Detective star.
The tweet has since gone viral, earning nearly 500,000 likes in the past two days. It didn’t take long for Harrelson himself to respond, as he hopped on Instagram on Thursday and penned a poem to Cora.
“You’re an adorable child, flattered to be compared,” he wrote. “You have a wonderful smile, I just wish I had your hair.”
Shortly after Woody’s response, Mulvenna jumped on Twitter to thank the actor on Cora’s behalf, writing, “Thank you all so much for the likes and retweets and also that she doesn’t always look like Woody Harreslon, it’s just that when she does...she really really does xxx.”
Mulvenna told the Today Show that the resemblance didn’t dawn on her until a friend brought it up. “Basically, we never saw the resemblance until our friend Chris pointed it out at a BBQ,” she shared. “Then once we took that photo of her laughing it was undeniable.”
