Tiffany Haddish Reveals She Lost 'All My Gigs' Following Accuser Dropping Child Sexual Abuse Lawsuit

Haddish said she's relieved the lawsuit has been dismissed, but that her career has taken a serious hit, revealing, "I lost everything. All my gigs, gone."

Uncertainty looms over Tiffany Haddish’s career.

At LAX on Wednesday, the 42-year-old actress/comedian was asked about the newly dismissed molestation lawsuit filed against her and comic Aries Spears. Haddish told TMZ she was “relieved” the legal battle was seemingly over, but mostly “concerned about the kids, [and] making sure they were OK.”

In the clip above, Haddish told the cameraman the ordeal isn’t exactly behind her, as it has taken a serious toll on her career.

“I lost everything,” she said. “All my gigs, gone. Everything, gone. … I don’t have no job.”

Haddish has two projects in post-production, and was expected to star in the sci-fi flick Landscape with Invisible Hand. It’s unclear if the molestation lawsuit affected her involvement in the films.

The Girls Trip star found herself at the center of controversy this month when she and Spears were accused of sexually abusing two minors in the summer of 2013. The plaintiff—identified by the pseudonym Jane Doe—claimed she was just 14 years old when Haddish and Spears recruited her and her little brother for sexually suggestive skits. Jane said one of the shoots involved her mimicking fellatio on a sub sandwich, while another depicted her 7-year-old brother as “the subject of a pedophile’s fantasy.”

While speaking to TMZ, Haddish said she no longer communicates with Aries.

“I don’t talk to him,” she said.

The now-22-year-old Jane sued the comedians for intentional infliction of emotional distress, gross negligence, sexual battery, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a minor. Haddish was additionally accused of negligent supervision/failure to warn, breach of fiduciary duty, and constructive fraud.

On Tuesday, Jane confirmed she asked the judge to dismiss the case with prejudice.

“My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years, and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us,” she said in a statement. “We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”

Haddish addressed the complaint in a message shared on Instagram earlier this month.
