UPDATED 11/14, 10:05 p.m. ET: Cannon has corrected a report claiming he pays “nearly $3 million” per year in child support.
“I definitely spend a lot more than that on my children annually,” he told the Neighborhood Talk. “I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of child [support].”
The $3M estimate was made by Goldie Schon, an attorney who practices family law in California, in an article by the Sun tabloid.

Less than two weeks after it was announced Nick Cannon is expecting his 11th child, the Wild ‘n Out host is now confirmed to be expecting his 12th.
As Page Six reports, Abby De La Rosa announced via her Instagram Story that Cannon is the father of her unborn child. The pair have already welcomed twins, Zion and Zillion, but now they’re set to have their third child together. She confirmed the identity of the father when she reshared a posted, that warned, “1 night with a Libra can turn into 3-4 years.”
She added, “Damn! lol 1 night turned into 4 years and 3 kids real quick,” she wrote. “I see no lies here smh. Y’all be safe out there.” Cannon is a Libra, as he was born on October 8, 1980.
De La Rosa’s post comes not long after model Alyssa Scott announced she’s expecting her second child with Cannon. Scott and Cannon had their first child together, Zen in June 2021, who passed away in December 2021 from brain cancer. Both women didn’t mention Cannon when they initially announced their pregnancies.
The ever-so-prolific Cannon has attracted a lot of attention for the amount of children he’s welcomed into the world. This year alone he’s had three children with three different women. Earlier this month, even Ryan Reynolds felt the need to crack a joke about Cannon. “We’re gonna need a bigger bottle,” joked the Deadpool actor. He previously teamed up with Cannon for a commercial for his Aviation American Gin, in which the Masked Singer host prepped a cocktail he called “The Vasectomy.”
De La Rosa discussed her open relationship with Cannon on the Lovers and Friends podcast with Shan Boodram. “Technically speaking, we all know about each other,” she said about the other women in Cannon’s life. “It’s just, how much do you want to know. How much are you choosing to know. I trust the connection that I have with Nick.”
De La Rosa said her status is currently “monogamous by choice,” and she considers Cannon to be her “primary” partner. However, she’s open to a relationship with someone else, if that person were to come along.
“It doesn’t necessarily have to be sex,” she explained. “I think that’s what everybody always thinks: ‘Oh my god, you guys are having one big orgy.’ And it’s like, ‘Actually, no. It’s actually quite the opposite, and it’s beautiful…I think that people are so focused on what it is that they’re afraid of.”
