Following reports of their Las Vegas chapel wedding, Kourtney Kardashian has opened up about her and Travis Barker’s impromptu “marriage.”

On Instagram, the Kardashian shared a series of photos taken at the ceremony in which they didn’t actually get legally wed.

“Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license),” Kourtney wrote in the post above. “Practice makes perfect.”

The pictures show the Elvis impersonator who officiated the ceremony, which they apparently insisted be overseen by one of Las Vegas’ many Kings of Rock and Roll.

The couple announced their engagement last year, and they’re planning to hold an actual wedding ceremony at an undisclosed date in the future. It’ll be the 46-year-old Blink-182 drummer’s third marriage, following Melissa Kennedy and Shanna Moakler, the latter of which he has two children with. Kourtney, 42, has never been married but shares three children with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.

Kourtney Kardashian’s confirmation that they didn’t actually get married comes not long after a source told told E! that they held the ceremony “for fun.”

“They were out at Delilah on Sunday night after the Grammys and had a few drinks and decided it would be funny to go to a chapel and get ‘married,’” said the source. “They had a little too much fun in Vegas and thought it would be hilarious.”
