Kim Kardashian made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live this weekend, silencing the skeptics who doubted her potential as a comedic performer.

It’s worth noting that the reality TV star reportedly prepared for the gig with the help of Kanye West, Dave Chappelle, Michelle Wolf, Ellen DeGeneres, Amy Schumer, and James Corden. However, there’s no denying that Kardashian’s appearance exceeded expectations, following up her opening monologue by appearing in seven sketches.

“I know. I’m surprised to see me here, too,” she began her opening monologue. “When they asked, I was like, ‘You want me to host? Why? I haven’t had a movie premiere in a really long time.’ Actually, I only had that one movie come out, and no one even told me it was even premiering. It must have slipped my mom’s mind.”

From there, Kim referenced everything from her public persona and infamous sex tape, to her famous family and late father Robert Kardashian’s relationship with O.J. Simpson.

Kim also took a moment to shout out her estranged husband, Kanye, who she praised as “the best rapper of all time.”

“I married the best rapper of all time,” she said. “Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America. A talented legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So, when I divorced him, you have to know it just came down to one thing: his personality.”

“Travis, Travis baby, ugh I have to do my show,” Kim said, sitting on the 41-year-old SNL star’s lap. “Oh my God, did you just call me your honor? Baby, you are so epic. Will you drum ‘All the Small Things’ on my ass when we get home?”
