The first trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 is here.

Lionsgate shared a first look at the fourth entry in the action franchise, which stars Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen and Bill Skarsgard. The film is set to hit theaters on March 24, 2023 after being delayed from its original May release date.

The film was previously scheduled to hit theaters on May 27, 2022, but was pushed back another 10 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lionsgate announced the film’s new March date in a video back in 2021.

Alongside Reeves, John Wick: Chapter 4 will also star his Matrix co-star Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and more. Michael Finch and Shay Hatten penned the screenplay, while Chad Stahelski resumed his directorial duties. The film is produced by Stahelski, Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee. Reeves and Louise Rosner are executive producing.

The latest entry in the action series comes as numerous spin-offs are also in the works. Lionsgate announced that Albert Hughes will direct two of the three episodes of The Continental, a three-episode prequel mini-series that will follow Ian McShane’s Winston character 40 years before the events of the first John Wick. The series will debut on Peacock in 2023.

Knives Out star Ana de Armas is also starring in a spinoff film called Ballerina, which will be directed by Len Wiseman.

The franchise’s first three entries have earned $584.7 million worldwide at the box office.
