Devin Ratray, the actor best known for his role in the Home Alone film franchise, has reportedly been arrested on domestic violence charges.

According to TMZ, the 44-year-old was booked in the Midwest City Jail on Wednesday after turning himself in to authorities. The arrest stems from an alleged altercation between Ratray and his now-ex-girlfriend in Oklahoma City this month. The actor, who played Buzz McCallister in the first two Home Alone installments, was reportedly in the city to headline Oklahoma Pop Christmas Con, a two-day holiday event that included meet-and-greets, movie screenings, food vendors, and costume contests.

Days after the convention, Ratray’s girlfriend filed a police report claiming he physically assaulted her during an argument at an OKC hotel. According to an affidavit obtained by TMZ, the woman says the altercation began while they were out  having drinks. At one point during the night, two fans allegedly approached the couple and asked Ratray for his autograph. The woman claims Ratray became angry after she gave the fans two cards without charging.

The argument reportedly continued when the couple arrived at their hotel room. The woman told police Ratray was intoxicated and began pushing, hitting, and strangling her before saying “This is how you die.”

Police arrived at their hotel room later that night, and the two reportedly went their separate ways. The woman filed a police report on Dec. 10, and Ratray was ultimately charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation, as well as domestic assault and battery.

TMZ reports the actor was released on $25,000 bail just minutes after taking his mug shot.

The actor, who also starred in this year’s Home Sweet Home Alone film, has denied the allegations, claiming their altercation never turned physical.
