Amanda Bynes is expected to have her psychiatric hold extended, and reportedly wandered the streets for days before she was found roaming around naked, per TMZ.

Sources familiar with the former child actress said it is believed that Bynes was living on the streets for a number of days prior to when she was found.

Her car was towed in Long Beach, which is approximately 25 miles from where she was found wandering the streets of downtown Los Angeles without clothes on. It is suspected that she hitched a ride or took public transport to get from Long Beach to downtown L.A., and allegedly got a ride from a stranger to Beverly Hills before she asked to be returned to Hollywood.

Those close to Bynes said she has made some improvements since she was placed on psychiatric hold on Sunday, but as of right now it’s looking like she’ll remain in care for another week before she’s discharged.

The 36-year-old She’s the Man and The Amanda Show actress flagged down a car on Sunday when she was having what she described as a psychotic episode. Law enforcement said that Bynes was taken to a police station and placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold, but she was not injured during the incident.

Last year, Bynes’ conservatorship came to an end after almost nine years. Her parents reportedly are not considering placing her back on the conservatorship, although they are worried for their daughter’s mental health. Bynes is currently enrolled in a cosmetology school, and is said to have been living by herself.
