One of the most rightfully obsessed-over shows of 2022 is about to make its return.

During Sunday night’s oft-moving Oscars ceremony, FX rolled out a short but impactful teaser for the second season of their acclaimed hit The Bear starring Jeremy Allen White. In addition to giving us quick looks at key cast members, the brief preview zooms close on a handwritten sign reminding us of what happened with the restaurant in the Season 1 finale.

“It’s not a reopening, it’s a rebirth,” FX teased when rolling out the 30-second clip. This glimpse at the new season also includes a reveal of a release window, with The Bear now confirmed to be returning to the network and Hulu in June. See it in full up top.

“Carmy is going home and facing a lot of the things he’s been running away from for a long time,” White told Complex at the Tribeca Film Festival last June when discussing what drew him to the Christopher Storer-created project. “That’s what really struck me about the character and the show, which is really interesting to me. A character has just gone through the most traumatic [moment] of his life and then has to come home and face all these ghosts. It makes for a really great drama, and comedy as well.”

White is joined in The Bear by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Matty Matheson, Abby Elliott, and Oliver Platt. The series’ inaugural run resulted in numerous accolades, a Golden Globe and a Writers Guild of America award among them.
