Seth Rogen has shared a touching tribute post in memory of his “perfect girl” Zelda, a beloved dog whose “special love” left an impact on many.

As Rogen revealed on Sunday, Zelda—who was “almost 14 years old”—passed on May 4.

“She was truly the most special, magical creature,” Rogen said. “She taught us about love, resilience, strength and kindness. We loved her more than words can describe. Everyone who met her saw what a unique little puppy she was. She’d stare in to your soul with her gigantic buggy eyes. She was so judgmental, that when she loved you, you really knew you earned it, and it made you feel like you had won.”

Rogen noted that Zelda had appearances in three films, as well as two magazine cover shoots, not to mention a lighter caddy designed in the likeness of Rogen’s companion through his Houseplant brand. Fans and longtime followers of Rogen will also note that Zelda made a number of appearances on the star’s Instagram, including once rocking an undeniably adorable gloop-inspired sweater for a Houseplant clip.

The actor/writer/director also shared a list of traits that were unique to Zelda, ranging from her oft-praised airport behavior to her fondness for Zankou Chicken.

“We belonged to each other and we will miss her forever,” Rogen wrote on Instagram, as seen below. Mindy Kaling, Paris Hilton, Ziwe, Lee Sung Jin, and others offered their support in the comments.

RIP Zelda.
