Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are expecting their first child together.

During an appearance on his friend Seth MeyersLate Night on Tuesday, Mulaney—who was previously reported to have split from Anna Marie Tendler—reflected on having “packed a lot into” the past year.

“I went to rehab in September, okay?” Mulaney told Meyers’ audience. “I got out in October, I move out of my home from my ex-wife, I host Saturday Night Live on Halloween, I relapse on drugs after the show. Not directly after, I just mean, you know, after.”

From there, Mulaney noted, he took a job with Meyers and “continued using drugs” until Meyers and other friends staged an intervention.

“I went to rehab again, this time for two months,” he said. “I got out in February. I lived in sober living for another month and a half. The insurrection was on January 6. I had nothing to do with that.”

Keeping with that joke, Mulaney continued:

“And it wouldn’t have happened on my watch,” he said. “There was never an insurrection before I went to rehab and have they done it since I got out? They wouldn’t dare.”

Capitol riot jokes aside, Mulaney made it clear he’s grateful for this chapter of his life, particularly his relationship with Munn.

“In the spring, I went to Los Angeles and met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia. … I met her, actually, for the first time in life at your wedding,” he told Meyers.

Meeting Munn was a “very lucky thing,” Mulaney explained when confirming the pregnancy.

“I got into this relationship that’s been really beautiful with someone incredible who has, like, dealt with the non-coked-up Bambi version of me and that’s been very incredible,” he said. “She’s kind of held my hand through that hell and we’re having a baby together.”

Adding that he was “nervous” to make the announcement, Mulaney said he and Munn are both “really, really happy” about what’s ahead.

Toward the end of the interview, Mulaney and Meyers shared a moment of vulnerability during which the former summarized what the show and his relationship with Munn mean to him.

“You guys saved me from drugs and Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself on this early journey out of recovery,” Mulaney said.  “I don’t have a joke for that. I’m really grateful for you, buddy.”

Back in May, People shared a source-citing report about Mulaney and Munn’s then-rumored relationship. At the time, the two were claimed to have met (or re-met) “at church in Los Angeles.”
