Lauren Shuler Donner—who produced every X-Men film and executive produced Legion and The Gifted—recently gave a lengthy interview to Rotten Tomatoes where she addressed the merger between Disney and the 20th Century Fox's film and television studios. In the interview, she spoke about X-Men: The Last Stand director Brett Ratner, who was hit with multiple sexual misconduct allegations late last year.

Back in November, Ellen Page chose to come forward with a Facebook post accusing Ratner of forcefully outing her before shooting The Last Stand. “You should fuck her to make her realize she’s gay," she recalled Ratner saying. Months after fellow co-star Anna Paquin corroborated the story, Shuler Donner told Rotten Tomatoes that she, too, supports Page.

“I back her up 100 percent,” Shuler Donner said. “Absolutely. He’s horrible. I’m aware he’s very demeaning to women, extremely demeaning to women, myself included. Yes, I was aware. Anybody that’s female, he’s demeaning.” The producer also said she spoke to Page after she posted her story on Facebook.

Schuler Donner also spoke to Rotten Tomatoes about Bryan Singer's alleged sexual misconduct. "I love Bryan, but Bryan has a lot of demons,” she said. “Bryan has some problems, and Bryan needs to take care of his personal problems. That’s all I can say.” Singer directed The Gifted's pilot, as well as four of her X-Men movies, and his executive producer credit on Legion has recently been removed following to his sexual misconduct allegations.
