William Daniels, who is best known for portraying Mr. Feeny in the iconic '90s sitcom Boy Meets World, found himself fending off a would-be robber from his home this past Saturday (Oct. 27) night.

The actor, who is 91 years of age, was sitting at home with his 89-year-old wife, Bonnie Bartlett, when the event occurred. Around 9:30 p.m., the intruder forced his way into the couple's San Fernando Valley home via the back entrance. Daniels immediately noticed the intrusion, and quickly switched on a light, which scared the burglar. The actor then quickly called the authorities, who expeditiously arrived at the residence.

Thankfully, nobody was harmed in this incident. Daniel's publicist informed ABC7 that the pair "are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all of his fans for their concern."

Despite the recent string of Los Angeles burglaries which targeted high profile celebrities like Rihanna, police do not believe that Daniels was targeted, as this case is being treated as an isolated incident.

Aside from Boy Meets World, Daniels has appeared in numerous films and TV shows which include The Simpsons and Grey's Anatomy. He was also a part of the main cast of the '80s medical drama St. Elsewhere. Most recently, he reprised his role as Mr. Feeny on Girl Meets World, a spinoff of the '90s hit which depicts members of the original cast during their later years in life.
