We're almost three years since a minibus Tracy Morgan was riding in was involved in a massive car accident with a Walmart tractor trailer. It took some time, but a year later, Tracy Morgan returned, picking up everything from a pilot with Jordan Peele to returning to the SNL stage. On May 16, 2017, Tracy Morgan makes his return to the comedy special circuit with Staying Alive, which premieres on Netflix, which has made itself the haven for stand-up.
While there's unfortunately not a lot of context regarding the exclusive clip up above, we see Tracy talking about that awkward experience when someone knocks on your door overnight and your parents answer, embarrassing the fuck out of you. No one tells a story quite like Tracy, so it's dope to see him sliding in those insane details, from the 27" TV to the way his father's knee looked at the time. Dude's a genius, and I for one am glad he's still with us.
