Tracy Morgan Says He's Forgiven Walmart Truck Driver But His New White Neighbors Haven't

Tracy Morgan tells Conan he's forgiven the Walmart truck driver for the fatal 2014 traffic collision, but his new neighbors certainly haven't.

Tracy Morgan has forgiven the Walmart truck driver who nearly took his life in 2014, but he told Conan O'Brien on Thursday night that he knows some people who haven't: his new neighbors. Morgan once again spoke candidly about the traffic collision which left him in a coma and took the life of his friend and fellow comedian, James "Jimmy Mack" McNair, all while imbuing the tragedy with his reliable sense of humor.

"I forgave him and I'm not even mad at him anymore," Morgan told the cheering Conan audience. "But you know who is mad at him? All my white neighbors! 'You wouldn't have hit his ass, he wouldn't be living next door to me! I got daughters!'" A new favorite pastime for Morgan is to slowly cruise around his fresh neighborhood in his Lamborghini, generally maintaining a speed of "30 miles per hours so everybody in the neighborhood can see it."

Morgan is currently preparing for Lee Daniels and Jay Z's forthcoming Richard Pryor biopicIs It Something I Said. During a chat with the Breakfast Club crew last month, Morgan opened up about the extensive creative process behind capturing the spirit of Red Foxx with an honest portrayal:

"I'm not trying to do an impression," Morgan said at the time. "I'm trying to channel him. Just like Jamie [Foxx] did with Ray. He didn't do an impression. He did Ray on heroin. That's a dark place. You wanna go until you know how to get to that dark place."
