Not many people love the band more than Cory McCloskey does. He made that quite apparent during his excited yet endearing live report at a pre-game gathering for the football team at Desert Vista High School. In a short clip uploaded to YouTube by FOX 10 Phoenix, the local TV news reporter and band enthusiast walks his audience through the different sections to show off their varying sounds. When he finally reaches the sousaphone, it seems he just couldn’t contain himself and accidently drops his microphone into the instrument.

Fear not! After quickly jumping into action, he retrieves it and ends the segment with a Judd Nelson fist pump for victory. No actual mics were harmed in the making of the video above.
