The trailer for the upcoming season, kicking off on Thursday, Jan. 27, shows that things are picking up right where they left off in Season 4A after the crew’s luau party. The episode ended as Zoey is once again stuck in the middle of choosing between her two college loves Luca Hall (Luka Sabbat) and Aaron Jackson (Trevor Jackson), Nomi comes face to face with her baby’s father and Ana and Vivek hooked up. It looks like Zoey will now have to decide if she follows Aaron to South Africa or if she moves to New York to follow her fashion dreams and start a clothing line with Luca—a decision she will continue to wrestle with for the remainder of this new season.

As far as the other characters go, now that most of them are in their senior year, they’re all also making major choices in their lives, starting new relationships, participating in the Olympics, and preparing for a life post-Cal U. College is ending quickly for the squad and surely more drama, unexpected hookups, and awkwardness will ensue, but there is also so much more growth to come for everyone involved. The cast sat down to give viewers a rundown of where they left off, what’s in store, and what fans should expect this season in this exclusive featurette from Freeform. “There’s always going to be a little bit of mess,” Shahidi says in the clip. “But I love the way in which Season 4, you can actually track the growth.”

Check it out above and tune into to catch the Grown-ish season premiere on Freeform on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 10 p.m.,  or stream it on Hulu on Friday, Jan. 28.
