In case you needed another reason to visit Japan, the country is planning to bring free Wi-Fi to Mount Fuji. Quartz reports that this is part of Japan's attempt to make itself more welcoming to tourists before its turn to host the Olympics in 2020.

Hopefully the development will not only be fun (Snapchat from the summit! Livetweet your descent!), but also useful.

"We hope people will use the service not only to tell about the attraction of Mount Fuji, but also to obtain weather and other information to ensure their safety," a tourism official said.

Just another example of Japan giving the people what they really want.
