The Midnight Society makes its return.

Nickelodeon is reviving its cult-classic series Are You Afraid of the Dark? in a three-part limited series event. Each episode will be one hour-long and will premiere a week apart from each other. The first installment is debuting on Friday, Oct. 11, at 7:00 p.m. with the following episode starting at the same time on Oct. 18 and Oct. 25.

Like its rendition of shows like All That, this take on the 90s show will be reimagined for a new generation. In Are You Afraid of the Dark? a new cast of Midnight Society members will recount the tales of Carnival of Doom and its evil ringmaster Mr. Top Hat. As they tell this terrifying story, the tale will start to unfold in their real lives.

Are You Afraid of the Dark? is produced by ACE Entertainment and the company's co-founders, Matt Kaplan and Spencer Berman, are the show's executive producers. The story was written by BenDavid Grabinski and the episodes will be directed by Dean Israelite. Both Grabinski and Israelite will assist Kaplan and Berman as executive producers. The new Midnight Society members will be played by Sam Ashe Arnold (Best.Worst.Weekend.Ever)Miya Cech (Rim of the World, Always Be My Maybe), Tamara Smart (Artemis Fowl, The Worst Witch), Jeremy Taylor (It, Goosebumps 2:Haunted Halloween); and Lyliana Wray (Top Gun: Maverick, Black-ish). Rafael Casal (Blindspotting) will take on the role of Mr. Tophat.
