During the D23 Expo, Disney’s Pixar revealed the details for their upcoming film Soul. The film will be directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker and Pixar CCO Pete Docter (Up, Inside Out), according to Deadline. House Mouse announced the movie will star Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey with a setting in New York City as well as cosmic realms.

Soul will also feature Phylicia Rashad, Daveed Diggs, and Questlove. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will handle the original score, while Jon Batiste will contribute the original music for the movie that will hit theaters on June 19, 2020. The release date is just a few months after Onward (March 6). The elf-focused fantasy flick will star Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, who hasn't split with Disney even though Spider-Man has. The films will be the first non-sequel Pixar entries since 2017's Coco.
