Justin Bieber gave David Beckham a good fright on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
On Wednesday, the professional athlete sat down with Ellen to talk about his family and recent cameo on Modern Family, when Ellen cleverly transitioned the conversation into talking about Davidâs kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper trick-or-treating at Bieberâs house last Halloween.Â
âWe all follow Justin on Instagram, of course,â David said. âAnd we're all fans and we all love him. And it's coming to the end of our night of trick-or-treating. The kids have had far too much candy and enjoyed themselves a lot. And on the way back, Romeo turns around to me and he said, âJustin'sâŚgiving snow cones awayâŚ.' So, I DM'ed him and he got back within, like, secondsâŚso we went straight âround there. Turned up. And, yeah, we all got snow cones.â
After finishing the story, Bieber unexpectedly jumped out of the coffee table and screamed, which shocked Beckham. The pair hugged and Bieber apologized for scaring him. âSorry, they wanted me to do that. I gotta go,â he said, and ran off stage.
While laughing, Beckam told Ellen, âOh man, I really didn't think that was gonna happen.â
Beckham then talked about how Bieber is a great person. âDo you know what?â he said. âI know you all love him, but he's the most amazing human being. He really is. He really is. For someone to achieve what he has achieved and still be an amazing person and to be doing what he's doingâŚâ
He added, âYou know, I always gauge it off of how people are to kidsâand to my kidsâand he has been so kind to my kids over the years. It's, you know, it's great to see him. Great to see him back.â
During the episode, Ellen and Bieber played a round of the game Burning Questions, where they discussed what the singer did for his wife Hailey Bieberâs 26th birthday, what part of his body he loves the most and more.
Usher also appeared during the episode to play the game Spill the Tea with Bieber and some audience members, and Usher sat down with Ellen to discuss new music and his upcoming film Burden.
