Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s romance has been heating up over the last few months.

Now the new couple have debuted their podcast, Separation Anxiety. In the first episode, Larsa admitted she gave Marcus an alias in her phone back when their relationship wasn’t public, per TMZ.

The 48-year-old described how she didn’t want people to know what was happening between them just yet. "I could never really put you under your name in my phone," she said. "So I had you under Marc Jacob. ... I didn't want anyone to know when you called me."

Marcus, 32, understood her choice, particularly because her ex, Scottie Pippen, and Marcus’ father, Michael Jordan, have a longstanding beef.

While the couple hid their romance for months, they stopped worrying after some time. In January, Larsa and Marcus were spotted kissing after claiming to be “just friends” on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in December.

On Separation Anxiety, Marcus shared how the two started dating. "I do remember going on a trip to the Bahamas, taking a big group of friends, hit you in the DMs just saying, 'Hey look, we going to the Bahamas, you're more than welcome to come,'" he said. "I'll probably say that's the first move."

Their newfound relationship did stir some controversy, with some thinking the pair had known each other for years since Scottie and MJ played together for so long. Larsa denied knowing Marcus during his childhood, saying they only met a few years ago.

"Like, I threw your 5th birthday or something," she said. "Like, no, by the way, I never met you before."

Larsa was married to Scottie for almost 20 years, until 2016, when the former NBA player first filed for divorce. The former couple attempted to repair their marriage, but it didn’t work, and they finalized their divorce in 2021.

It seems because of that ordeal, Larsa didn’t think she’d fall in love again—that is, until she connected with Marcus.

"I think I might be single forever because there's no one that's cute, funny, smart," Pippen recalled. "Then when you and I first got together, I was like, 'Oh my God, this is the guy.' This is the guy I prayed for, 'cause I really prayed for a best friend and I feel like I got my best friend."
