Lauren Conrad is gearing up to take on a new role: mother.
That’s right, L.C.—the ex-reality TV star who was the subject of countless adolescent fantasies during the 2000s—is now pregnant.
On New Year’s Day, the former cast member of The Hills went to Instagram to announce she’s expecting. She shared the news with a photo of her sonogram, which was captioned: "Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet..."
This will be the first child for the 30-year-old and her husband William Tell, a lawyer and former musician whom she married in 2014.
“My favorite thing about being married is knowing that I have a partner in life that I get to do so many wonderful things with,” Conrad told Entertainment Tonight earlier this year. "Dreaming of the things we will do 20 years from now is so fun.”
Congratulations to the happy couple and parents-to-be.
