Disneyland California is set to get a huge expansion with the Avengers finally joining the Anaheim theme park. Avengers Campus was revealed at Disney's D23 event on Friday. There's no firm date for the new Marvel-themed area just yet, but it will launch sometime in 2020.

Rumors regarding the plans to add Marvel to the original Disney park have circulated for years, but now there's a few more details for MCU fans to go on. There's also set to be a new Spider-Man ride at the California park, which will reportedly be an interactive shooting game.

More details regarding the ride and Disney's grandiose Marvel plans are expected to be revealed during a panel at D23 on Sunday, but Disney has already offered plenty of hints to what fans can anticipate.
