Individually, Letitia Wright and John Boyega have already traveled to futuristic worlds on the big screen.

Wright is the highlight ofBlack Mirror’s bleak fourth season, and the genius behind Wakanda’s cutting edge technology in Black Panther. Meanwhile Boyega played the rebellious Finn in the latest Star Wars flicks and an innovative fighter pilot in Pacific Rim Uprising.

But now these two young Hollywood legends-in-the-making are joining their talents and love of sci-fi into one futuristic love story titled Hold Back the Stars. The film is an adaptation of the Katie Khan novel of the same name, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and tells the story of a man and a woman who “revisit memories of their love affair on a utopian Earth while they are trapped in the vast void of space with only 90 minutes of oxygen.”

Deadline calls the forthcoming movie Romeo & Juliet meets Gravity, and if you aren’t familiar with either of those works let me tell you, it sounds like this isn’t going to end well. Mike Cahill is directing with Christy Hall penning the script.

Boyega and Wright are friends. They attended acting school together, and stunted at the Met Gala together earlier this year. They also post about each other frequently enough on Instagram to maintain rumors of a budding romance.

It’s unclear when production on Hold Back the Stars will begin, but it sounds like this movie has everything—space! love! black excellence!—so we'll eagerly be awaiting more news.
