Fans are finally getting their first look at the 2019 Hellboy reboot directed by Neil Marshall. In the trailer, David Harbour takes on the role as the titular red beast in the midst of an existential crisis. Check out the trailer above.

HarbourĀ talked to Entertainment Weekly about what fans can expect from thisĀ reboot about the comic book hero.Ā āItās not an origin story, but itās his coming to terms with where he came from,āĀ theĀ Stranger ThingsĀ star said. āHeās been Hellboy for a long time, but thereās a new turn of events at the start of the film, where people start to bring up the fact that he might bring about the end of the world, and itās really the first time heās heard anything like that. The question that comes up in the movie is where does he really belong?ā
Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Daniel Dae Kim, and Sasha Lane star in the new movie alongside Harbour.Ā Hellboy was originally slated for a January release, but will now hitĀ theaters on April 12, 2019.
