UPDATED 1/9, 9:15 a.m. ET: Kate Beckinsale was just trying to post an adorable video of her cat shunning some Purrseco Cat Wine (?) when a commenter had to bring up MGK.

“Machine gun Kelly Really? I’m out!!! You are now infected,” the troll wrote.

Beckinsale wasn’t above responding. “Why don’t you worry about things that are actually happening and donate to the Australian wild fires,” she wrote, “rather than waste your time on things that are not happening and never were and also please get a fucking life.”

Page Six has obtained photos showing Machine Gun Kelly leaving the InStyle and Warner Bros. after-party following the 2020 Golden Globes with Kate Beckinsale

The sight of MGK, née Colsen Baker, ducking into a car with Beckinsale is quite interesting since rumors of a romance between the actress and his good friend Pete Davidson first started when those two reportedly left Netflix's Golden Globes after-party together around this time last January. Kelly and Davidson even attended the InStyle and Warner Bros. after-party last year.

It was reported in April that Beckinsale and Davidson split as they looked to "slow things down" after the couple "got super serious very fast." The comedian and Saturday Night Live cast member has since briefly dated Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress Margaret Qualley before moving onto model Kaia Gerber, daughter of Cindy Crawford.

In the midst of Davidson's relationship with Beckinsale, MGK raved about the actress, calling her "rad" and admitting it only took him "like 15 seconds" to come to that conclusion. Even though Baker has publicly acknowledged to being quite fond of the Underworld star, E! News reports that the visual of the two leaving together last night may have been a little deceiving. "At the end of the night they left in the same car," an eyewitness told E! News. "They had friends with them, but the two of them sat together in the back and seemed very friendly."

MGK and Beckinsale spent some time with each other at two separate after-parties, and despite appearing "friendly, laughing and joking around together," there was "no PDA or signs of them being a couple." When asked if they were a couple, Baker reportedly said 'negative' while Beckinsale called the idea of them being together "absolutely ridiculous."
