This week, Netflix dropped the first three episodes of Rhythm + Flow, their new reality series that essentially takes a hip-hop approach on the famed TV talent competition shows. Judges Cardi B, Chance The Rapper, and T.I. take trips to cities across the country, watching a number of emcees perform for a chance to advance in the competition.
Today, Netflix drops the first episode of Rhythm + Flow: The Aftershow. Hosted by Scottie Beam, we get some analysis on the first batch of episodes from a panel of hip-hop experts. Chitown's own Twista, journalist Ivie Ani, and DJ Hed are all on hand to discuss everything from Netflix's approach to this kind of reality competition series to how they integrated hip-hop into this realm on this grand of a stage. They also discuss how each region featured on the show did, as well as give deeper analysis of the performances we saw this week.
