'Avengers: Endgame' Re-Release Reportedly Features Deleted Scene Centered Around This Hero

The re-release, which hits theaters June 28, will feature additional content including an intro from co-director Anthony Russo.

For Marvel fans who believe there's no such thing as too many times to see Avengers: Endgame, an upcoming re-release of the film will have some treats to look forward to.

Entertainment Weekly reports that fans will be treated to never-before-seen content including an introduction by co-director Anthony Russo. Additionally, an "unfinished deleted scene"—reportedly about the Hulk—will appear after the credits. A tribute to the late Stan Lee is also expected.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige toldScreenRant the updated version of the movie is "not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises."

The re-release will also serve as a refresher for fans who are preparing to watch Marvel's next film, Spider-Man: Far From Home. A teaser for the upcoming flick, which premieres July 2, will also be displayed.

Depending how this plays out, the update could helpEndgame become the highest-grossing film of all time. With the current box office total being $2.74 billion, it sits a little over $40 million behind James Cameron's Avatar.

For those who don't need another round in the theater, Endgame's physical and VOD release may be the more attractive option. Per Comic Book, the Blu-ray will hit retailers sometime this summer and is packed to the brim with bonus features. True Believers will also be able to stream Endgame when it arrives on Disney+ at the end of the year.

Tickets for Avengers: Endgame with added bonus content are now available through Fandango.
