The third installment of the franchise reportedly outdid opening weekend forecasts, which had estimated that it'd bring in between $30 and $35 million. It ended up handily besting that by pulling in $56.8 million in North America alone. It added an additional $36 million from overseas markets. To compare that success with Wick's first two chapters, those brought in opening weekend totals of $14.4 million (for the original) and $30.4 million (for Chapter Two) respectively. If you want to go with how much they brought in, period, those numbers are: $89 million for the first film, and $171.5 for the second, which both seem like attainable goals, especially when you consider that one of those totals was already surpassed.
