Get ready to end 2018 with a dystopic bang. The trailer for Netflix’s Black Mirror: Bandersnatch dropped this morning, and everyone is ready to have this “event film” destroy their entire life.

Per the synopsis, “a young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge.” The "film" is reportedly being followed up by a run of episodes.

This retro universe, set in 1984, is reportedly one of the first of Netflix’s choose-your-own-adventure roll out—a detail fans seem to be freaking fans out the most. As a result, memes poking fun at the future horrific/bad decision people plan to make with the new series have begun to surface.
